A vhs tape was the item that brought the troupe together. The inspiration to create the troupe, to mimic the performances found on this treasure in a city treated as the world's garbage dump.

The children initially fought over the tape, after all, they did steal it from Uvojin's territory, but those sort of things didn't mean much then. No one owned anything in Meteor City.

Kuroro would watch these tapes, regardless of the content. He knew so many different languages because he would not complain watching Foreign Language Lessons vol 38. In Meteor City, you lived with what you got. The tape he found that day was a treasure, an action kids show from Japan of super heroes who saved the day. He wanted to share it with the others, and to make it more accessible, he and his friends would dub the voices in a language that the other kids could understand. He was clever enough to do it, and charismatic enough to pull it off.

And his friends saw that. They wanted to do the same thing. They all wanted to act together, and to hear the kids cheer. The VHS brought them all together.

So did another. Another VHS that he did not have but knew it existed. A VHS that contained the gruesome torture and murder of one of his childhood friends, one that was being shared to other individuals who could cheer and get joy from that content. To find that tape, the group would come together.

Not playing the heroes but playing the role as villains.
